We also carry out stone work, pointing, i.e. raise and cut, and jointed finishes. This is done with diamond blades to avoid uneven edges, and gets straighter joints which sometimes cannot be achieved with abrasive blades.

All our work is washed down and cleaned off to avoid the new mortar falling out and gives better key. Whatever the product, we point.

Sand cement/lime mortar we can do. In old buildings, lime mortar is better as it allows the building to weather a lot more. I have clients on the Fylde who have specified this, for colour and preference.

Other things we carry out are chimneys rebuilt and pointing ridge tiles, walls rebuilt (lintels), cavities cleared etc., airbricks, remedial wall ties, replacements, all rendering, cavity trays, etc.
